Survivor Crutches
Why not just add a cosmetic item to the game since the dev's want to give them so many crutches anyways?
Syringes, Adrenaline, BT, DS, New Parts, Toolboxes, I-frames, Loops.
Why do you want to make the game so hard on killers. I used to enjoy being a killer but honestly its stressful and irritating af now. Dont even get me started on SWF and bullying. Killers cant run? Why so we get to stroll along while we wait for one of the four survivors to make a mistake? I thought the point of this game was survival horror not babysit four whiny ass kids.
Survivors side is supposed to be the hard side but it's easy, it's just irritating when you get hooked early and camped. That's literally the only unfun part of the survivors side, losing.
I'm sure all the survivor mains are going to come in with git gud and say killer side is fine. I play both for fun but it's a ######### chore being a killer(main reason to even play for me). Survivors side is fun because I dont abuse broken loops and I dont gen rush. I want to actually play the game.
Maps too, they are huge and it's literally a bad decision for the killer to cross the halfway point on some of them. In order to assure I get any kills(I dont play to pip, in fact nowadays I play to depip) I always stick to the half of the map that has the most gens. Survivors arent scared until NOED pops. KILLERS ARE WEAK.
This game is going to lose all but the very best killers because of the balance. The killer is the "power" role, Laughable. It's easier to win a balanced game and feels more rewarding to lose in a balanced game, right now as killer its only rewarding to see a survivor make a mistake for the 6th time because that's when you get a kill.
I'm also convinced that most survivor mains come on here and act like killers are fine/op to get their way and get devs to nerf anything that makes killers a power role again. Any time the killer(which there is one of btw. Not 4) gets any ability or perk that gives them an upperhand, they lose it. Survivors are meant to be killed, hence the survival horror hide and go seek(except the whole game is more like tag)
I'm also convinced the current state of the game makes camping/tunneling a lot more relevant because it's the only way you can truly dwindle the survivors. Camping/Tunneling often times brings me a win(2k or more in my book) but it is not fun. Where as doing the stupid hook and go search(while there is ATLEAST 1 survivor in the immediate vicinity of the hook atleast 90% of the time) often times gets me several hooks but rarely a 2k or more.
TLDR; A lot of frustration on the Killers side for little to no reward, Survivor side is easy and boring af. Killers will always camp and tunnel at this rate, which ruins a survivor or twos experience(usually the inexperienced ones)
It sucks to see such a great game becoming such a frustrating ######### show.

I remember my first match where I made the killer rage quit. I bt'd a survivor the killer was face camping (we had done all the gens and egc was not a thing then), I got downed while saving, unhooked myself with deliverance then dead harded away to safety while the other survivors body blocked for me.
Didn't even need to use my pre-nerf decisive.
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who thinks that survivor meta perks are mainly just second chance crutch perks.

Yep, stuff like that ruins the game and I don't understand how that is rewarding to a survivor when it's so obviously skewed in their favor

Why was the game great before and why is it bad now? Survivors are still getting nerfed and killers are mostly still getting buffed (I say mostly because nurse).

genuinely curious how are syringes still crutch they were changed into something that's decent but not ridiculous like it's old version

At this point in the game, Killers do not need buffs. Individual Killers need to worked on, but the class as a whole does not need any major changes.
Neither does Survivor. Individual perks need balancing, but the basic gameplay and mechanics are fairly balanced.
If you had made this post in 2016, 2017 or early 2018, I would've been on your side.
Not now though. The game is as balanced as it has ever been. It generally rewards good Killers and punishes bad one's. That isn't to say there aren't unfair things, I still have a large issue with Mori's, Keys and DS. However, you would be a fool to dismiss the fact that the game IS very close to being balanced, certainly leagues closer than years prior.

I agree it's more fun to play survivor, at least at the high ranks where camping isn't very common and where you get decent team mates most of the time.
However with the current matchmaking low rank killers are getting stomped and that's not fun for anyone, unless you enjoy outplaying the new players for laughs and giggles (I know I don't, that's why I also don't like playing against swf teams with their rank 15 friends).
My advice to killers who are feeling frustrated with the game is to always use map offerings to avoid the bad map design; avoid going to Haddonfield, Red forest, Ormond, Autohaven wreckers and farm maps.
I've stopped playing killer unless I have the map offerings I want or at least moris, those make playing killer more fun and that's all I care about right now; having fun. I'm tired of having to sweat so much to get a pip or sometimes even just a black pip. it's not worth it because in my opinion the game doesn't reward killers with anything really valuable and the game feels more like a chore than anything else.

I feel like I see every survivor using dead hard, makes chases last so long lol. Annoying

While I agree 4 toolboxes is very unfair so much so that I don't think ruin even comes close to countering, maps counter hex builds harder then anything, and keys just kill the game for killer.
The killer has alot of unfair options as well in the ultra rare department. To top it off survivors do not have the option to see what the killer has so they can equip themselves. And If you can't imagine a powerful loadout yourself, there is a plethora of online personalities putting the builds together for you.
Is the game broken? Sometimes. Is it going to be catered to you and me? Probably not. Is there a place for you to voice your grievances with developer insight minus community ridicule. Nope.
