This event happened a year ago and we needed to reach goal to unlock reward. I know we couldn't reach it, but does anybody know what was the reward?

The theory going around at the time is that there was no reward. Seeing as the Devs kept banging on about that they don't just create challenges that we can't possibly fail (as some people believed that no matter how we did on a challenge, the Devs would boost the numbers so we win regardless) so they intentionally made one we would fail.
