Why is everyone so suddenly intrested in FNAF?
These past few days I've noticed some people making idea posts and concepts for fnaf and I wanna know why? I feel as if DBD isn't a type of game that needs fnaf especially not a killer like springtrap because what's his weapon going to be? If there's any need for a concept use FNAF4 that's a "nightmare" hehe get it? Btw JoJo Siwa for killer!

Same tbh the new killers lately have been low in power and now people want more? FNAF is a game that is alone and needs still alone..

Well it's interesting to have a Robotic killer in Horror, because let's be honest there has never been a successful Horror Movie that has the main killer being a robot. FnaF is kind of that successful horror story where the robots can actually be scary. Sure it's a surprise it's taken them this long to consider the concept of it happening. But in honesty I don't mind the idea if it's done correctly that is.

What's with you being in every single post ;-; hmmmmmmm…. all jokes aside
Sure we could have a killer robot but the question is WHY? We don't need something like fnaf, when the BHVR has even stated that they're shying away the monster or robot killers and mainly focusing on human ones. Demogorgon is probably going to be the only exception.

I blame Stranger Things DLC. Broke the shackles of what could be allowed in this game.

I think that it happened because before, everyone looked at the wrong side of it. Reasonably so, an animatronic walking around would not fit in the game. However, the focus seems to be on a well-modeled and a great fan teaser that is circulating that I posted about here, about Springtrap: he's not an animatronic, he's a rotting corpse in a bloody mascot costume who is sentient and intentionally murderous and sinister.
I think switching the focus within FNaF made people interested and like the idea.

I always thought the idea had potential, and as the hate dies down, people are finally comfortable talking about it now. If you tried to post something FNaF related on r/deadbydaylight a year ago, you probably would have an angry mob at your house, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

I like fnaf im just saying dbd n fnaf are completely different universes and would ruin fnafs time line

It wouldn't be canon to the franchise, just like how Leatherface being taken isn't canon to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series because he appears in sequels despite the fact he's taken by the Entity immediately after the first film.

Not really because as scott has said. His timeline is over. His story is done, thats what he wanted to do before giving out his ip's to like illuminix and steel wool

"what's his weapon going to be?"
in every version of a fnaf concept i've made ive just had springtraps weapon be his hands as im pretty sure being hit by rusty metal hand would hurt like hell

The mentality that a horror characters don’t belong in a horror game is pretty funny to me. Idk where the Fnaf hype started but I’ll ride the hype to the end!

Lol reminds me of how much backlash I got for wanting Ghostface in the game and people were saying he doesn't belong. And now, most people love to play as him.
