Lockers. Do you use them?

Today I played 3-4 games as doctor/huntress and for some reason,I found more than 3 time each game a survivor hiding in a locker. Why that? They honestly believe I'm that stupid and I wont find em?

PS; some had ds but still, first hook hiding in a locker is an awful use of ds. Also none had head on which,j rarely see.

only to hide from BBQ,I feel too vulnerable to do so otherwise

Doctor makes sense because his power makes a stealth build useless. Lockers are the logical choice for hiding. Against a Huntress unless I want to avoid BBQ from across the map I wouldn't dare.

Sometimes I try hiding in a locker if I am sure killer isn't expecting me here, otherwise I do it only during a chase if I feel I would be downed soon.

Ironically I didn't find any Dwight in lockers. All of them got the hatch for thst. They ignored their instinct telling them "such a warm locker, sit in it Dwight"

Only if I've got Quick and Quiet and Head-on, or if I know for a fact the killer has bbq and chili. Otherwise they're wayyyy too risky to use.

My Head-on won't work without the lockers

It's not stupid to hide in a locker. Those may have done it stupidly and you caught them, but there are probably countless others that have hid in lockers during your games that you never knew about.

I will occasionally duck into a locker if I hear the killer coming on quickly, but I'm not sure where they are. I would obviously never use one during a chase.

I'll consider using a locker only if

    1) A killer is about to hang someone and I don't wanna be seen with BBQ.

    2) A killer is far enough from me to not see or hear me entering a locker (these things are LOUD) and there isn't anything nearby that can provoke them into checking the area I'm in.

    3) I have locker related perks.

BBQ counter mostly. Every other time, I will take my own looping skills over a locker.

If I feel it's the right play, then yes.

Yes. If I know a killer is using bbq, I’ll bop into a locker when he hooks someone. I don’t use them to hide in chase though, it’s a death sentence.

Will use them if i suspect BBQ, however i straight up avoid using them otherwise. From my time playing as killer it is a death sentence to use one within the terror radius, those hinges call out to me. Besides that, alot of bad experiences of hiding in a locker preemptively and the killer just bee-lining straight to it for no reason.

I do, at the very start of a match. I have this odd issue where the game needs to 'warm up' after a match starts. The game chugs for the first 20 seconds or so, and the easiest way to get around that and not make mistakes it to simply chill in a locker for a half minute for the game to get going.

I will use them sometimes yes

You kinda need iron will though cause hiding in one with full health is just too risky and hiding while injured makes a lot of noise

Although a lot less now with the soundbugs

One of my favorite builds is Inner Strength, Head on, Spine Chill, and Quick and Quiet. a lot of people hate on Head On saying it's useless, but they are wrong. It is one of my favorite perks, and gets you out of a lot of situations, and losing chases.

Pretty much this, Its funny avoiding a Doc blindly scanning an area with static field by making use of a locker. I remember facing a Doc who shocked the living hell out of the jungle gym I was working at, only to miss out on the locker I jumped in right after he checked it.

I guess I touched a pretty sensitive topic about your beloved lockers.

depends. if the killer is unlikely to look there because of the circumstances, you should guarantee that’s where i’ll be (with head on as my backup)

Sooooo much. Then again, I play mostly Huntress and almost always run Head On as a survivor, so lockers are hugely important for me whenever I play. Not many people tend to use lockers against me though since I run Iron Maiden on my Huntress.

For Huntress, best tip I could give is to charge your hatchets more and be patient. If they can't get to cover in time, take advantage of that by charging up. It'll be harder for them to dodge, and you can get a feel for how they're going to try dodging it.

Otherwise, if you're chasing along a long wall (e.g. shack), throwing away from the wall a little will usually get you a hit. Most survivors will try to dodge your hatchet, and if there's a wall to one side, they can only dodge one way. Very few people will stick to the wall and try to avoid your hatchet.
