Tired of huntress hitboxes.
She is unfair, I am usually all for killers getting fun things but the hatchet hit boxes and your servers need to be addressed.
I am tired of dodging right while the huntress clearly throws left, but still hits me.
I am tired of dropping a pallet early and running behind a wall to be downed by a hatchet thrown at the middle of the pallet.
I am tired of being hit behind walls in general.
I don't know what you can do because anything that addresses killers with terrible ping, will make it horrible for killers with good ping, but i am at a point where i just want to walk over to a hook and stand there when it is a huntress game.
Am i the only one experiencing this against huntress?

Do you want one of my thousands clips where I hit the back of the unhooking survivor but the hooked survivor somehow takes the hit?

Same here, it makes me wants to dc against huntress cause I know im getting some bs hit.
And if I need tbh 90% of huntress win their games because of the broken hitboxes, not because they're skilled.

I think that many players are not aware of hitboxes. Yes dedicated servers worsen it. But thats a different story.
Idk how to put a time stamp. But I would recommend watching this vid at least close to the end.

Huntress unfairness for both sides imo makes her fair. Sometimes you feel that it's should've hit,but it didn't. And sometimes you feel that it shouldn't have hit,but it did

Tired of people posting about bad Huntress hitboxes. There is nothing wrong with her hitboxes. It is entirely ping related. The dev stream explains the hatchet hitboxes very clearly. I know you mentioned ping as well, but the hitbox stuff shouldn't be included.

Well they need to do something, it is seriously frustrating having low ping and mostly always being at a disadvantage vs huntress users...
On the flip side, when i play huntress, the slightest wiggle left or right will cause the hatchet to miss, or occasionally go through the survivor.

I can agree on that, the dedicated server ping is pretty bad. A lot of hits landing that normally wouldn't have.

Just because one issue hurts one side of playerbase that does not mean the second issue hurting other side of playerbase should stay. Both problems should be solved.

I remember a time on test servers with a changed hatchet hitbox. That was a fun time. Literally unplayable as huntress.
I think changing survivor hitboxes is out of question. Cant even imagine how and it would affect the whole game.

If you think she takes no skill then you haven’t played against good people, if you aren’t skilled then you’ll get destroyed.
@op, What about when my hatchets go through people? She feels extremely fair to play against imo.

Huntress needs her current hitboxes so she can deal with loops, she’d be extremely weak if she couldn’t deal with loops.

I know after the first hatchet hit if the killer has too high of a ping to the dedicated servers. If it's not playable I just leave the match.
Same with GhostFace. If I get the reveal 10 seconds later when you're not even looking at him or he can stalk through full solid objects I know his ping is too high to play against, and again, I just leave the match.
The game is not playable in those situations as well as many others. By playable, I mean by any rational and logical human's definition aka not BHVR's. Add in any penalty you want to punish other's for your own programming imcompetance BHVR, and I'll still DC every time.

Hitboxes are constant, latency is the deciding factor in determining whether a hit is made.
Think of the Huntress hatchet hitbox being your angry clenched fist ✊, if you're drunk and wobbling all over you won't hit where you're aiming (latency). Don't drink and play Huntress.

That's not entirely accurate. This was even an issue from the killer side when killers hosted the trials. When you're the host, and you throw a hatchet and hit the air 6 feet to the left of a survivor, and they take the hit...it's not a ping issue (because you're the host - it should at the very least appear to hit for you). It's a game issue.

This could be said about every killer, but huntress takes the cake when it comes to getting hit from a hatchet that missed by 2m.

No, it is entirely accurate. Before dedicated servers it was happening because of the ping with the survivor connected to the killer. Whether it was dedicated servers or the killer hosting it was still the same issue, ping.

The dedicated servers are mega anus when it comes to the Huntress. Hatchets she clearly whiffs constantly hitting me. Run around a corner or she just hits a few feet next to me, the game just injures me anyway. Previously, she was pretty enjoyable to play against, but the dedicated servers made it miserable.

No, it's not accurate. For all the reasons I stated. There's documented history of it.

One possible fix is making the hit-box match the character model.
I know the hit-box of Survivors is slightly larger than what they appear to be. Evidence for this, a Survivor crouched behind a wall can be hit regardless of whether their head sticks out or not. None of their body is visible, but with a low enough shot the axe will hit them.

Her hitboxes are not fine. But as someone else pointed out she needs bogus hitboxes in order to deal with loops.
It's one of those complicated subjects because there's no clear course of action.

Huntress hitboxes have always been very hit and miss. Even from a killer point of view, as I said.

I bet I can run your Huntress for minimum 2 minutes. And I'm not that good as survivor, if I call a good one he runs you for 4 minutes.
I expect that that you're some low hours players that haven't played much Huntress. Probably not even killer.
Huntress needs a lot of practise to be functional against survivors that know what they are doing. Most Huntresses doesn't have that lvl. If you get stomped every time maybe it's because your own gamer flaws.

Hitboxes are fine, lesser hitboxes make Huntress unplayable. In fact some items have way to big hitboxes like closets or hooks. The only issue is the latency problem on the animation, that happens in a lot of FPS tho.

You shouldn't jump to conclusions based on assumptions, makes you look silly. On the contrary I don't get stomped by her yet the hitboxes still remain bs, too many hits that she gets which were a miss.

Nice assumptions, 2k hours, most likely 600h are playing killer, and yes, most of the time if huntress main get their 4k's is because how bad the hitboxes are, I got like a million of video where that hit was a miss, yet somehow that was able to hit me.
And I guess you can't even run me for 40 seconds lmao

I see why killers main dont want hitboxes to get fixed, it will actually require skill and will not be a braindead ez 4k, it will be to hard :(?
It would take skill if huntress actually have to hit the survivor, it doesn't make sense that huntress hit the wall and it "hits" does it?
Im tired of people saying huntress hitboxes are fine, pls play some survivor games against huntress and then post :)

Hahahaha dude I usually run Huntresses for a lot of time, enough to make them lose the game. Primary because I have lots of hours with her so I know how to counter Huntress.
The problem is you, you are mediocre as surv, get good, that's it. Whinning won't make you improve.
Huntress throw projectiles, she is not hitscan, survivor hitboxes are 100% fine in this scenario.
Lesser hitboxes would make her unplayable no matter your skill with her since she would be super easy to dodge (It has already been tested).

She will take skill when you actually need to hit survivors.
Imagine if survivor didn't have to aim the killer face to blind, it would be inconsistent, like hitboxes but common, would that be fine?
NO, and that's the huntress problem.
I guess it takes skill in consoles (where you play ps4) cause it is hard to play huntress in a controller, but in pc with a mouse it is already easy to play huntress + the trash hitboxes we have + our awesome dedicated servers.
Maybe play huntress on PC and you will see that it isn't hard to play huntress (like most people say lol, "huntress has the biggest skillcap in game" 90% of people that say that im sure they are some console players lol, IMO)

actually is both, some huntresses are skilled but the hitbox are the extra, im also good huntress player, i play all killers tho and survivor on the highest capability possible(for now).

OP is talking about bad ping issues mostly. And I agree, Huntress with bad ping is easier than Huntress with good ping. Since a Huntress with bad ping can throw a hatchet where a survivor was a moment ago and no where the same survivor is in real time.

He is just saying that on bad ping. Wich is partially right. Huntress take skill to aim, to know when to shoot and when to fake a shot. But bad ping makes easier to play her, and harder against her. The same goes with the windows hit, with a high ping you as a survivor could be 2 meters away but still get hit.
