I'm sorry monto but no more slowing down the game "just a lil bit" I'm sorry but even with over 50 days played it's still hard to hit great skill checks with ruin, and considering all the nerds "op" survivor stuff has been getting this is a huge relief so at least we know the devs are trying to make the game feel less annoying for both sides.

Not like it changes much for me anyways. I generally don't run it because it's gone in about 15-45 seconds anyways. It was useless before it will be more useless now.

Grats enjoy your games, I mean you'll have to wait longer because killers will quit or switch to survivor main but ok.

This is just now true, did you see me quit survivor after they nerfed brand new part, syringes, or even balanced landing, no, this change is good for everyone and was much needed.

Those nerfs were needed, a full team of BNP could get 4 gens done in a few seconds before the nerf

I was hitting ruin skillchecks just fine. But they had to balance the game araund worst survivor. Good survivors will dominate even more now high ranks

even with the survivor nerfs, survivors were still stronger then killers anyways.

Good. Greats are hard as hell to hit on console if your skill checks are lagging which they usually are.

When Plauge come to the game and for survivors they increase requirements to pip, I wait on killer 30-40 minutes, I have hope, u survivor mains're gonna be like playing in that way, hope ur enjoy

Yes, this was my first thought as well. My brain didn't even try to process the likely consequences for gameplay. It just froze, much like survivor lobbies will be doing to a ridiculous degree. The good news is that my apartment will be very clean. It already takes so long to start a match that I usually use the time to wash the dishes or vacuum or something. Hell, I should probably get motivated to paint the walls in my living room. I'm excited!

We've all been there. I remember I found ruin annoying, but also made the game more interesting, because every game without ruin ended in 7-8 minutes and it was boring as hell.
We've all been there, but we got better at hitting hex skillchecks to the point in which we didn't care about ruin at all and now are able to power through it.
Ruin didn't need this, it needed a small buff. I'm very disappointed right now as a survivor and as a killer.

Damn have to start playing more dirty as killer now. Semi camping is a must rather than always follow survivors "rules" about no camping and tunneling.

If anything, this is going to encourage scummier plays to ensure pressure and kills. Expect more slugs, proxy camping, tunneling, and hard/soft patrolling.

Ruin was the only thing that made the stupidly mindless task of working on gens a challenge. I'd actually bother to work on gens with Ruin up. With no Ruin, it's just completely boring. I'll search chests, I'll cleanse totems, I'll make hook saves, and I'll almost certainly die, but without the challenge of Ruin then the other survivors can do gens 'cause it's not worth it for the small amount of BP and complete lack of entertainment they provide.

You'll most likely see a drop in killer variety and longer que times as a survivor due to this straight up nerf. Most killers ran it due to the issues of large maps and quick gen times making it so they couldn't adequately apply pressure. Most likely the Dev's at a later date will say something else along the lines of "we have been adjusting maps so we no longer thought ruin was necessary" despite not nerfing the main issues.
You talk about nerfs on survivor side yet dont realize a lot of those nerfs were justified heavily due to how those games went. If you have really only been playing for 50 days then you didn't play when those perks were nerfed to realizing how polarizing those perks could be used by a bad player let alone a good one.
Also just saying that according to what they said new players got destroyed by it. They balance around the rank 20 games not the middle to top tiers which start to develop issues, but as a person who says they have been pure rank you should already know this as well.

ive been playing for 50 days in total (xbox gives days and hours not just hours, i have been playing on xbox since it came on it)

I mean after awhile ruin is in every game when you are in red ranks. You get used to it and learn how to manage it better as well. And if that doesn’t workout you have the opportunity to still gen tap. I just see this creating a smaller community of killers. If higher ranks could figure out ruin, they will work around regression penalties when not on a gen. Lol at the devs on this one imo.

I said days not hours, honestly if you have been playing 50 days total since release on xbox that's 1.2k hours. At that point I take back what I said apparently your just not very good at great skill checks with Ruin. Even then it only released in 2017 meaning you average about 1.7 hrs a day. That's more then enough time to practice skill checks with ruin, but it does make sense with your rank.
If you only want to read what you read and pretend people are ignorant. People can easily do math as well. Honestly it's close to probably 2 hrs a day since the game released in june 2017.
Though let's be honest DBD on console is lonny simulator. So reality if you probably played closer to 1/3 the actual amount given.
