Show us survivor perk percentages, what gets nerfed for them?
Ruin is getting nerfed because it's used in 80% of games at red ranks and 45% overall fair enough.
Now show us what percentage of games include multiple survivors running Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, Adrenaline and then let us know the reworks coming for those. And before you start with telling me they were already nerfed please stop, if Ruin still gets played as much as either of those perks after this nerf I'll eat my computer.

It wasn't only nerfed because it was used in 80% of games at red ranks and 45% overall. Try reading the post again without your default bias.

Dear lord this took way too long to finally nerf Ruin. This has been a long time coming

I think your bias are showing. Just let us see the stats how much DS, BT, or any exhaustion perks are used.

I'd like your opinion on why you believe Ruin needed nerfed.

What're the current most meta survivor perks? BT, DH, DS, Iron will, Adrenaline, head on (kind of) Urban. unbreakable, balanced landing. Sorry, maybe the survivors could show us how they're not bias so we can get some of the perks nerfed. But of course, it it's going to make it more difficult for killers to even get gate keeper. Let's just wait until the devs see how well higher mobility killers are going to be doing and nerf them. So we'll be forced to play killers with lower mobility so survivors can start using all their ormand and cold wind farm offerings.

I love how first reason they listed for Ruin's change is "Its punishment of new players or those who can't hit Great Skill Checks"
Because heaven forbid new players should practice and learn over time how to hit great skill checks. What about the rank 1 games where survivors muscle through ruin and finish games in 8 minutes, if not faster? There are plenty of videos available on youtube of high-skilled killers getting rushed to hell even with ruin up.
BHVR missed the mark on this by a mile, and if they honestly think this is okay after the PTB goes live it'll show they truly don't care about the killer base.

Yeah, it was unfun for players... well unfun for survivors.
You know what's unfun for killers, getting hit with DS even after they chase and hook someone else... because it's an anti tunnel perk right? Because locker tech is sooo cool

I think ruin nerf was extreme but I also know most games the data shows survivors die more than they win by a long shot. This includes swf who have a 45% win margin overall. Solo is worse. Killers should only be getting two kills per game but are getting 4K a lot more.
They need to change pip requirements in red ranks for killer so they don’t have to always 4K to level up.

Because dur dur hitting skillchecks is hard, and 8 minute games are too long

Because of how required it felt to run. Now I feel like I have 4 open perk slots instead of 3. I think that it's pretty dang absurd that a luck-based perk (random totem spawn that may or may not get destroyed instantly) was being used in 80% of games. That's just bad for the game. Every game I've ever played has reworked random chance based perks like this when they became meta and used in every match. This is just a solid change for the game.
It would be impossible for the devs to address the underlying issue of gen completion speed and gen rushing without nerfing Ruin first. First off, they need data and playtesting to see how games go for those top tier players who felt they needed to run Ruin every match before they actually make any changes to the base gen completion speeds. Secondly, imagine them nerfing gen repair speed before nerfing ruin, and coming into the game as a new player. That's not how you attract new players to your game.
But yeah, nerfing ruin and gen speeds in the same patch is way too much random assumption on what to tweak. They have to be done seperately after seeing how things looks after implementing one of those. And logically, Ruin nerf needs to be the 1st one of those 2 implemented.

So you felt required to run Ruin to slow the game down, now you have no option to run it in it's current form and you think the game will some how be slower?
So
you can play with your four fun perks and whine that you didn't even get a chance to use them?

Did you mean to respond to someone else's post or did you just miss everything I was saying entirely?

Yeah I chose not to reply to your weird assumption that a gen speed update is coming next

Ahh so you just made those random 3 assumptions that I said nothing about in my post.
Have some faith in the dev team my guy lol. If all killers start getting whooped without ruin they are obviously going to do something about it. Take a second and think about what actually has to be done in order to get to the point where they can implement a gen speed nerf.
But, honestly it's not going to be nearly as bad as everybody is guessing it will be for killers. Top tier killer players are still going to do just fine. The same thing happens with every update that people read on the forums before testing it out.

Wait.. Sir.. Did you just make a post about disliking Ruin just a few hours ago?

Again, you are guessing/assuming that they have any plans whatsoever to adjust gen speed after this Ruin nerf, why?

I'm assuming the devs will do something if the rework of Ruin leads to all killers getting stomped. And I predict that this will happen to some extent. I could be wrong though, killers might still do just fine and retain the same kill-rate that they currently have.
I'm also stating that a Ruin nerf would be required in order to implement a future gen speed change, which leads me to believe they have future changed planned that they will tweak based on how killer statistics look after the Ruin change.
