Nerf Doctor because he is “irritating”

Are you serious? Isn’t that the point? He isn’t even close to a popular killer so I really hope these changes aren’t a nerf. I’ve been playing him since I started and I take pride in being able to play him well. I don’t mind learning his new set up as long as he doesn’t become another nurse. So sad.

Well yeah, the dev notes looks like they just nerfed the Doctor but we haven't saw the add-ons.
This killer isn't as effective as we can expect so i REALLY want to see they gave him some love because actually it seem they burried him.

Add ons shouldn’t be the only reason killers are viable. They should be bonuses, not feel like a requirement.

I genuinely wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and was genuinely excited but won't lie when I read the blog post I was severely disappointed.
Also, a delay when using Shock before you can attack? Seriously? This was one of the whole issues he had in the first place. Power weakened him in chase what's the point of using it? The Madness effects were weak af as it was.

To be fair, that was irritating even as killer if you knew immersed survivors where close but you couldn't find them unless you wasted a ton of time.

The new Doc is not intended to be a nerf. If there is a problem with his power level after this update, we will adjust accordingly in a later patch.

not intended to be a nerf? so whats with the whole 3 second cooldown deal goin on?
With the 3 seconds cooldown between shocking and interacting, and with the shock only blocking interactions for 2.5 seconds. you guys realise the shock does absolutely NOTHING now right?

The part that looks upsetting is the "So we've added a brief pause after using Shock Therapy before he can attack or use another ability.". This change already signifies that doctor will either be same or perhaps even weaker depending how long this is. It's only concerning part of the developer notes.

Where are you getting 3 seconds from? The dev update says "a brief pause" but doesn't specify how long.

I hope they did account for the 0.5~1 second delay of the dedicated servers in most regions, otherwise the new doctor wont be playable by a lot of us as it is the case with hag, ghost face and the shape.
time to learn to throw dem hatchetes, huntress seems to be the only killer that is good with dedicated servers this days, I mean at least the server delays make her hatches hit impossible places.

I think all time that killers are supposed to be irritating for survivors but as we all see devs are nerfing killers and their perks to make them no irritating and comfortable for survivors. I dont believe my eyes when im reading these notes.

Do you see? Every single change is make to make him "less frustrating" for survivor, "less annoying to play against" and "frustration" of using Snap Out Of It.
PAMPERING SURVIVORS IN EVERY SINGLE PARAGRAPH OF THEIR NOTES. Legion, Nurse, Spirit and now Doctor. Every killer nerfed to make him/her less frustrating, less annoying and less irritating. Not speaking about ruined ruin. Its only me who see high survivor siding?
