DS isn't event even very effective. killers have no argument.
firstly the only reason you need it is if you're being tunneled. and even then you still have to hit a skill check.
you can also NOT even be affected by it if you just leave them in the dying state for a minute then pick them up . thus rendering DS useless.
comparing DS to ruin is NOT a real comparison

You're absolutely right. DS to ruin is not a real comparison. Because killers NEED ruin and can't win without it while survivors can win without DS. Also a killer can only have one ruin, but a survivor team can have 4 DS's. If you think killers have no argument, then you don't play killer.
But an even bigger issue is just the survivor bias. Every word of the patch notes was "too unfun for survivors," "not enough risk for killer," they seriously put zero effort into thinking like a killer.

I watch high level killers stream quite a bit. It is incredibly effective. Not only as an anti-tunneling perk, but as a license to play recklessly after an unhook.
