I don't know who has been negative towards you within the "red rank" players. I assure you, this is not accurate.
The game health SHOULD be more important than all of us because we all, including the DEVS (I assume), want the best product available.
I think the DEVS have done a fantastic job, but, If there are flaws and room for improvement, It's okay to communicate that. If It's constructive and healthy. For the benefit of the community and game.
I would certainly hope the DEVS would say the same, I'm not trying to speak for them, but It would be logical to me to assume just that.
I also believe from what I'm seeing, reading, and others I've talked to, I don't believe the change to ruin is the biggest issue here. I think It is much deeper than that currently, hopefully, that Isn't being lost in translation.

- “After seeing the crying I’m glad they nerfed ruin. Crybabies deserve it.”
- ”Only weak killers use ruin.”
- ”Killer community is extremely toxic towards devs. I don’t see survivors bullying the devs like this.”
- “Looks like we’ll be losing a lot of crybaby killers. Good for the game.”
- ”DS isn’t even very effective. Killers have no argument.”

I’m pretty sure I was one of those “red ranks” who had said that ruin’s a problem for low ranks that should at one stage be fixed but ok... not that red ranks can have issues dude since gens are done too fast there.

This isn’t entirely true, the player base is what keeps the game alive and the game is how the people working on it get paid so the players are actually more important in a sense. I dislike the changes and I’m going to voice my opinion about these changes in the most constructive way I can.

Old Freddy was flawed in a lot of ways, strong at one point, then just became a cardboard box chasing people down.
