Can we get a refund on Hag?
I hate playing her, I only purchased her with shards because I wanted Ruin so I could have more time to play the game with other Killers. Now that Ruin is no longer what I purchased it for and won’t be using it any more, can I get my Shards and Bloodpoints back so I could get a different character? I’d rather have Clown for pop goes the weasel.
The only time I play Hag is for the daily ritual. I can’t play her much otherwise because her point of view gives me a headache on maps with high grass or corn.
Also, I feel that anyone who purchased Ruin from the Shrine should get refunded if they want to. I mean, the perk isn’t performing as advertised anymore.

Nope, because the devs are now following EA's philosophy of "######### you, got mine, Now pony up more money."

I agree that ruin is.....being removed from my perk pool with this change, but as always, no.
You cant have a refund. You agree with ToS which says SOMEWHERE "subject to change". You paid for the right to play a part of it. You still have it. It's just changed since release.

Yea, you’re right. It was worth a shot asking. At least now I know not to spend any real money on this game.

Unfortunately that’s not how games work. Totally get where your coming from though. I literally only got her for Ruin as well. Now that it’s useless it feels very much like a bait and switch. Guess this is how surv felt when old MOM came out. MOM was Arguably broken but if you pay for something you expect to retain its value in some form. This sucks.

Regardless of how they butchered her best selling point, Hag still remains a Damn good killer. Albeit very difficult to learn, once you get good with her she devastates survivor teams regularly and is high rank viable with her base kit. Sure Ruin was one of the more beneficial reasons to get her, but it should never have been the primary reason in the first place. Seriously, play her for about 20 hours, and you'll understand that your decision to purchase her Only for the sake of having Ruin was sorely misguided.

I started playing with her cos i suck as killer and started ranking up like crazy!
That being said, i know what you mean I don't think we should doubt of the devs honesty but what can they do?

I don’t think my choice to purchase her for Ruin was misguided. I purchased her because I didn’t want to wait forever for Ruin to appear in the Shrine. I wanted Ruin because I was a new killer and matched went by way too quickly when I tried to play killer. The only times I got a kill was when I tunneled or when I faced a full squad of potatoes.
I was constantly paired up with survivors who were much better than me, and that’s still a problem with the current matchmaking. My choice was misguided because I thought Devs balances the game for both sides to have fun equally, but this recent change to ruin, and their unwillingness to change the current matchmaking (the fact that they want to hide ranks after a match adds to this) shows that what I thought isn’t the case.
Also, I can’t have fun when I can’t stand the point of view of the character. I do admit though, it is my fault, and I will do more research before I make a choice like this again.
