The servers are live on console
killers now have ping, lobbies can exist without the killer it appears that dedicated severs are now live on console yet the devs haven’t acknowledged or even say anything on it not to mention not that many people are talking about it. I don’t know it just seems strange

Since the Nurse rework I've been watching this game burn from afar.
Tried playing a game of Hag, the second most fun killer to me and it was just a lesson in why I left.

Like I said - Dedicated Servers are live. This "test" was no test at all.
At least Console now gets this great experience. btw. if you figure out which animal I have to sacrifice to make Dead Hard work, let me know.

Ah, dont worry. You will be rewarded with Hatchets that explode in the air not even close to the Survivor, removing a Health State of them. Dedicated Servers buffed Huntress to have some form of AoE damage.

even on pc 4 survivors will load in and have to wait for a killer.
Its the servers lol. Its now not the killer hosting the lobby its the devs server now. So that very well may happen

hes saying that the devs haven't acknowledged the fact that they are able to get into lobbies with no killer.
Failing to realize that they are now on DEDICATED SERVERS and that the lobby has nothing to do with the KILLER HOSTING it anymore. LOL

So far pretty good. I haven't noticed any weird hit boxes or lag. No idea if it'll last. But so far, so good.

The only issues I had were that I got into full lobbies INSANELY fast. Also, the matchmaking ranks were borked. I was rank 9 and consistently getting lobbies full of rank 2. I'm rank 9 by choice though and proceeded to smash some survivor skulls. But I had to work for it which I'm opposed to. So get me some mid-tier survivors to earn easy bloodpoints with plzkthx.

Most likely testing stability, they turn it on and off on the PC in the starting stages, might do so for PS4 but as far as I'm concerned, if things are stable, they won't need to turn it off.

Can confirm. First game on the dedicated servers was vs an Iri head Huntress, watched a hatchet explode in the air 3 meters away from me and then I was on the ground, like she threw a grenade.

I haven't played since they were activated, is there less lobby dodging? Does it affect queue times in any way?

Killers can’t lobby dodge anymore like the use to instead the killer leaves and all 4 survivors stay in the open lobby waiting for a new killer to join, a side benefit to this is if the first killer doges because you’re swf the second killer won’t know
