Such a random date, isn't it? Why mention it even?
Well fog travelers, that date was the release date for the disparate arts collection, which featured the clown's Pulcinella outfit and Adam's "sightseer" outfit.
Ever since the sightseer outfit came out, I couldn't contain my excitement of knowing that sooner or later they would've given Adam another outfit...
But that day never came...
weeks turned into months, chapters turned into mid chapters and so on...
Every time a new chapter or mid chapter came out, I would've jumped onto the leaks to see if there was something, ANYTHING for Adam.
But nothing...
I would always say to myself "don't worry, you just got an outfit, maybe during the next big patch you'll get another" and yet, nothing.
7 months BHVR, 225 days of no new outfits for Adam, how long do I have to wait before I can finally rejoice at the sight of a new Adam outfit?
Please behaviour, help out a kind Adam player with some fresh outfits

Pretty sad to read this. Maining a BUNCH of original and semi- original characters I get to dress them up in so many different ways! But the new ones don’t get too much love

No one going to acknowledge Kate’s outfit situation. She’s getting a new one technically but I think I’d rather not have a new outfit then what is coming for her. Also been a long time since her last outfit release too.

To be fair, he is licensed. BHVR could come up with Millions of Cosmetics for Adam. But honestly, I rarely see Adams at all, so there is not really a reason to create Cosmetics for him, if only 3 people would buy them. Meanwhile, every female Survivor will get more profit by creating a cosmetic.
Maybe all of us should play Adam for a month. Like, a month full of Adam only matches (in the Base Skin). And then lets see whats happening.

Feng had a huge stretch too. She got her sci fi collection August 15th 2018, then a Christmas sweater (that everyone got), then her lunar event cosmetic (which I don’t really count,) then finally ballerina Feng in like, May. It was rough. And I think the only one we’ve gotten since then is the weird headphones one.
I know they are trying to bear in mind free characters vs dlc, and that some characters are played far more often, but I do wish the cosmetic distribution was a little better.

every licensed dlc has cosmetics except Quentin and Freddy so

I think they concentrate on survivors who are played the most since they have the biggest potential to generate sales.
I made a stat (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/119274/stats-killer-survivor-popularity-in-red-ranks#latest) on survivor popularity (in red ranks) and only 1.5% of those players chose Adam. I guess this is one possible explanation why he did not get more outfits yet.
I hope he gets some love in the future.

Yeah, but being licensed limits the chances of Cosmetics a lot. I mean, a few months ago we had no cosmetics at all for any licensed character. And if BHVR wants to do Cosmetics for Quentin, the Holders can simply say "No".
But nothing is holding them back to create Cosmetics for Adam - except they are not profitable, because nobody plays Adam and so nobody would buy those Cosmetics.

It makes sense. They focus a lot of the new costumes on the free characters. So for people who didn't buy some of the extra characters, they can still get their money on the characters that every has.

Kate is soon going to be the 2nd least original character with hardly any cosmetics yui just came out and already has 34 and Jane has like 36. It's like behaviour only gives cosmetics to their favorite characters Meg, Claudette, Dwight, Jake, David, nea, Jane and yui lol.
