Map Idea
Picture this:
Haunted Mansion. Lights flicker on and off every “x” amount of time. Complete darkness to dim light.
Each Generator is in a room of the Mansion. When a generator is complete, the lights remain on in that room. Darkness impairs survivors vision and enhances killer and vice versa for lit rooms.
When the lights go dark, generator repair speed slows down and returns to normal when lights come back dim.
Instead of having a hatch to escape, survivors have to find the only window that is no longer boarded up on the outside walls of the mansion.
Maybe introduce a killer like:

I had a mansion idea with a front court yard and backyard garden.
I am currently trying to design the main layout, tiles, and spawn locations.
The mansion was supposed to have a elevator that would go down to a basement area or something.

I think it would be pretty dope and more horror-related than a lot of the current maps.

that is the most ridiculously killer sided map i have ever heard cool design but the fact is dbd maps (well some of them at least) are already stupid dark and plus the gen speed getting slow downed when lights are of fis stupid also i love the ascetic so just remove the gen slow down and keep the lights at dim and i feel like it could be an awesome map

Not sure how it’s killer sided?
Lights on = Killer vision impaired
Lights off = Survivor vision impaired
Darkness = Slowed gen speed; because how are you repairing something you can’t see?
From a logical perspective, seems reasonable.
Idc about what the killer is or looks like but would make sense to have something that’s been in the dark long enough they have trouble in light.

i guess i misread or something cause i didn't know lights on meant that killer vision is impaired also i see how it makes sense but i feel like as killer that map would be really obnoxious

I just didn’t specify on that.
Idk, I feel like it’d be pretty fun. Obviously it doesn’t have to be an impairment that completely nullifies your ability to see.
