I like how every killer at the upper ranks assumes every single red ranked survivor is straight out of Marth88's team. I can't 360 for crap, and I frequently lapse on paying attention to my surroundings for escapes.
The new Ruin is pretty weak and has even less of an impact on split generators than the old one, and that's how gen rushing happens. It's nice that it was changed to be more newbie friendly, but it doesn't fix the problem with rushing generators by splitting them. Even then, duo'ing generators with the current version of Prove Thyself is very quick (and rewarding), too, though I don't actually see too many people running it these days.
As I've said in the past, they've made very little efforts to combat gen rushing's core issue, and everything to do try and nerf around it.

I don't get the non-sense on these boards. Let's call a spade a spade, save the BS biased shenanigans.
There is a problem with the balance of this game right now. Gen Speeds are a huge problem. Watching games like that make me cringe because It truly shows just how strong a good team of survivors are. I'm tired of the biased BS all the way around.
I hate RUIN, I'm very okay with change, however, changing something without addressing the OBVIOUS issues behind it is ######### asinine.

Everyone who is truthfully and plays both roles knows that old ruin was fixing core issues of the game. So everyone will struggle against decent teams. Sure, you can still stomp potatoes in red ranks without ruin. But so can I with any killer bare naked.
Adrenaline isn't even the big issue, the perk is fine by itself. It's just the gen speed which needs a fix. A fix would be a second must do objective.

So, Cahlaflour is better than Otz? I watched her play all day today different killers with no ruin and she always slaughtered them. She was Rank 5 and always against Ranks 1 and 2's. No camping. No tunneling. No crutch perks. No sweaty plays. She was also tired, stressed, all while reading and answering questions. Zero issues.
This otz was very dependent on Ruin?

He's not getting destroyed but yeah he has been trying to play without ruin at all, and gens are just flying by. Thing is, I go against the same rank survivors he does, if he is struggling, how the hell am I supposed to pull it off I'm nowhere near his level.

A single survivor doing gens will only take 7 minutes.
As long as at least one survivor is doing gens at all times, you will not win as killer.

Exactly. Unless you use pop to regress gens, the gen times are insane. If survivors just do gens and all survivors are half decent at loops, there's no way you'll 4k without ruin and "playing nice", you'll have to snowball, camp, patroll hooks, tunnel, maybe you'll get lucky with noed+blood warden or they will have to make a huge mistake.
I remember a game as clown at rank 15, I had another account so I went easy on them, the chases ended fast, but I didn't tunnel or camp them. No ruin, they were ranks 15-16 who had basic understanding of the game, probably between 300 and 600 hours. They all escaped. Ranks 15, I had 3k+ hours by that time, of course I played super nice but giving away nothing, just chasing one survivor at a time and letting them unhoook. I downed everyone super easy, still all escaped, the match lasted like 5 minutes. They knew they were really bad at looping, so they desperately did gens and they won.

I don’t watch Otz a lot but I’ve seen few games where survivors frustrate him because he doesn’t use ruin but he manages to win in the end most of time.. I don’t care about winning, I just want the game to last long enough so I can have fun and without having to play sweaty so my opponents can have fun too. If ruin gets nerfed the game will definitely be less fun for both sides specially for killers which will eventually lead to them quitting the game.

Otz has 3k hours and plays smooth and good but he usually plays weak killers against survs that know what they are doing. So it's a challenge.

All good, I don't want to deny you using this thread to solve some personal issue with some random guy, but now that you're here, besides your video about Hex:Ruin (which I've watched) Have you had games like this Otz game (first message of the thread). Have you ever had games where you see the flaws of the game, you feel that the times are mathematically broken? or that even if you're an amazing killer, you had 0 control over a match even if you tried your best?

Welcome to reality when playing non-viable killers. When you don't have tools to win or showcase skill expression, than you'll lose and get numb to it. Otz is playing doctor and doctor doesn't have tools to win so expect this to be the case for a lot of killers m1 killers when they face a decent team.

I watch almost all of Otz's content. He has been doing almost all no Ruin games lately. He 3-4 kills most of his matches. He only struggles on the rare occassion survivors bring BNP or many toolboxes.

Yup, happens all the time. Usually when I get giant maps like Red Forest on Huntress where I literally cannot get places. I don't care that much because I know its out of my control so I don't take it as a personal attack on my skill if I lose. I think a lot of killers would benefit from that state of mind. Just gotta be confident in your abilities while knowing sometimes you're just ######### regardless. Same goes for Survivor. They can also equally just be in a complete dead zone and have no options. Just the nature of the game. As long as you admit mistakes when you make them its okay to realize sometimes you're screwed.
