Camping on both sides
I'm explaining this from both sides of the tracks including camping a Survivor and yes that does exist.
Camping as the Killer.
Now I won't lie I have camped but only the last Hook when the generators are powered and I didn't get anyone. Usually I would do this to see if anybody is dumb enough to actually save this guy. Depending on the Killer you really don't want to try my patience when I'm doing this.
However if I have something like barbecue and chili and it's the beginning of a match. If I hook somebody and I see no one's working on generators odds are you're nearby and if I have a certain perk on that allows me to know when you're nearby then why would I leave the hook when all three of you are stupid enough to be right there.
Has Survivor
For those who don't live underneath the rock or too prideful to admitted camping and Survivor is actually a thing.
You know those times that for some reason or another you decided to wait by the hook. Similar to the barbecue and chili situation where I know you're nearby but I'm waiting for you to try to make the save yeah that is a form of camping.
Especially if two or more you are crazy enough to try to save one person. Without borrowed time.
Now what do you do if the survivors or killers are camping the hook. Follow the steps.
If your killer and you're camping the hook but survivors are dumb enough to stay nearby and run around it letting their team a die then by all means let them do it. If they unhooked right after they enter second state then feel free and knock that Survivor back down and put them on the hook and there you go they're dead.
If you are a Survivor and you see that the Killer is camping then for the love of God do the generators. That's the most punishing thing to do. I know you probably feel a little bit bad that you had to leave somebody hanging literally but it's either them or you period friend or not I think they would prefer you to live which is why they didn't just kill themselves on the hook.
If you have anything to say please say below but seriously people there are ways to punish this. Some of you are just too stubborn and want to take the easy route.

if you as a survivor are being camped DON’T and I mean DON’T ######### or DC automatically because the killer wins and it hurts the team.
if you’re being camped please wave your arms up and down because that is the international sign of camping.
If I’m running kindred and you see the killer is camping and you all come for the save DON’T I won’t be offended!
But also I thought a person who plays for both teams is a bisex- I mean a killvivor or as I like to call it a traveler of the fog! Also I’d like to change the term camping to having a bonding experience because the killer just wants to bond with the survivor

But what i dont get from that... WHY CAMPING???
Look: You have 1 Survivor hooked, u see an other Survivor that wants to unhook. Just go for him then, down him and hook him... Dont just stand there ready to Grab someone.
I Play Wraith at Rank 1 all day, i use my BBQ to just rush those survivor. They just unhook and heal each other... but Gens? THEY DONT HAVE TIME FOR THAT... and how do i do that? NOT CAMPING. Hook one, cloak, Sprint to the Next Survivor, uncloak (Windstorm) hit, cloak...follow him. Uncloak next hit. In the time you got one down.... they just unhooked and maybe healed him. most of the Time they dont even finish 1 Gen. NOED with Wraith? WHO NEEDS THAT SHlT if they dont even do gens?
BBQ,Ruin, Thana, Nurses calling with every Killer and you dont have to Camp EVER again. Just rush them. Against good survivors it will give you 32k Bloodpoints and 4x iridescent
