THE BEST way to TRULY BALANCE this game
So... I think it's undeniable that DBD suffers from an identity problem, given the fact that the devs says that the game should be fun, so they balance the game for lower ranks (the newcomers) and leave us (the older/more experienced players) at margin, that's undeniable, because everyone that plays on red ranks knows that you can get gen rushed even with ruin up, but at the same time ruin is broken for lower ranks for example... Now the core of the issue (and what the devs REALLY CAN'T SOLVE apparently) is "How can we make the game fun for all ranks??"... I thought of a pretty easy way to do it, and perhaps I'm not the first one to talk about it, but one way would be making the ranks have a debuff, or change the game by itself, so for example if you r at red ranks, your gens will be repaired way slower than it would be if it were a rank 20 game for example, and let's say if you r a rank 20 survivor, you need to be hooked 4 times to completely die (just throwing out numbers so you understand)... This would eliminate the need for unfun perks like noed, decisive strike, ruin, etc etc... It would make the game easier to balance, because every experience would be possible to fix individually. Then with this solution, another VERY OLD PROBLEM would come up again, which is "Why should I rank up?", and this other solution is a matter for other discussion.
