Make new ruin killer basekit
Well, that's all. Yeah, you need to change perks like overcharge, PGTW, and make ruin non hex and etc. But new ruin is what killers need now:
- Not wasting time on kicking gens
- Faster regression
And you can keep old ruin, just make when you hit cursed skill check progression doesn't stop like you failed skill check, it's kinda stupid because it's regressing not only 5% AND time you can't repair gens while skill check is "missed"

I think making it basekit would be too strong with survelliance, unless they nerf survelliance somehow.

Not having to kick gens would be nice, considering survivors can just tap a gen to stop the regress .

Oh this again.
I like the Ruin and Surveillance combo. I can use this on Billy and Nurse. Making something like this base kit is an age old argument even for old Ruin.
Idk tho. I have mixed feelings about making perks base kit. The next thing you will hear is survivor DS base kit. Things like this people dislike more than New Ruin.

Because game need major changes. It using gameplay from game realease. They trying to fix problems with perks, but they need to change gameplay by itself. And no need to kick gens, or increase regression speed to be worth of wasting time on kicking gen is these changes that game needed

Honestly, I think the problem lies more on the maps side of things? I feel the map sizes and rng for totems plays a huge part in what your gameplay is like. Not so much the perks. Idk though, I was not having a rough time on the ptb

I think if they rework toolboxes to help with something else, instead of repair speed. Base repair speeds with the new ruin in the game as something that can easily be destroyed is really fair to be honest, as both a survivor and a killer player.
Thing is people bring toolboxes and suddenly the balance of the match is tilted; for each toolbox it's tilted more and more, they should be looked at.
Making ruin basekit though would just be insane.

And as i said, game using gameplay from release state. Map design included too. Good map design it's new Freddy map. I'm in love with Freddy map rework. Demo map is meh... It's cool looking, and have a nice totem spots but just because it's closed map like Lery's institute

These Ruin "base kit" ideas are really unbalanced and the devs already stated they won't do that.

I think the base of repair and regression is fine right now. Watch those compilations of "Gens done in X speed" videos, in almost all of them it's because one or multiple people have toolboxes. Those should be the focus of ire.

Yes I agree. They need to do over the maps that Suevivors have the most escape rate in... since they're aiming for a 50% kill rate to survive rate anyway?

Lol no, if you have 50% kill rate that's mean you killed only 2 survs and this is mostly depip or safe pip

It was a joke. They need to redo the emblem system a bit so killers can often pip even If they have 1 kill if they play well so they can feel relaxed more

That's a map and ranking issue, NOT a gen speed problem. I agree that all/most maps need rebalancing, whether it's from size or lighting.
And, the ranking system rn is a joke. The fact high levels can play with the game with their noob friends and STILL face rank 1 killers is terrible. It punishes certain killers for using their powers, is super inconsistent between killers, and is overall poorly designed.

You could slap a 10 second speed increase to generators as a bandaid fix, but that isn't going to solve the core issue this game has, which is map design, ranks, and other bandaid fixes with new perks.

i agree! make generators constantly regress when it isnt being touched at just one set speed at which the devs agree on, and ruin can just grant a 3-5 second pause of the generator shaking of you get a good skill check instead of great

So the killers who didn't need Ruin. This is why the Ruin change was poorly executed. Weaker killers who pretty much needed it can no longer use it.
Still, having it as basekit is a bit much and would require too many changes to other perks to accommodate it. I would like removing the pause after failing a hex check, and it would make Ruin a million times less frustrating, but before we nerf Ruin we need to buff the weaker killers first.

I agree it would be to powerful as a basekit at 2 times the regression I think a .25 - .5 wouldn't be to powerful

The killers who needed it were.killers with low map pressure, changing ruin was fine by me but you gotta fix the issue first. Remember, ruin slowed gens. When games.were done too fast they released the pig to slow it down, they circumvent fixes by using perks or killers, as bandaids, but that doesnt solve the problem gens are still done too fast
