Plague or clown?
I’ve been saving up iridescent shards for a bit and I have enough for a new killer should I get plague or clown? I like plagues ability it seems to be fun to play with and clown his bottles seem like fun to use and mind game survivors so I don’t know who to get I’m leaning more towards plague though.

I like plague's ability when actually playing her while clown falls short in feeling (there's a reason people call freddy a better clown). Add in that all 3 of her teachables are between great perks to usable depending on killer vs clowns 'meta' perk, beginner helping perk, and memeish perk.

I understand this is your first purchase, right?
Buy Plague if you want a killer to PLAY and not just for perks. Plague has 2 great and 1 good perk, and she is an okay killer.
Clown also has good perks, but he is the WORST killer in the game currently.
I would also recommend buying Hag, because I bought her myself, but one of her perks is getting nerfed to the point its useless for her, so its not that good investment anymore.

Plague is probably stronger but Clown is more fun, so go with Clown 😃

I hope you are joking, Clowns power does almost nothing, you have to rely on being good at looping, but you are still getting genrushed because of ruin nerf.

Clown is fun only for masochists and no idea who else.

Currently killer rankings are something like this:
- Spirit
- Nurse
- Hillbilly
- Everyone else (including Plague)
- Leatherface/Pig
- Legion (he is just bad Plague lol)
- Doctor (not sure cause he is getting rework)
- ######### CLOWN

these two killers is pretty equal, but clown I think you gonna have more bloodpoints than the Plague while playing though.

I would recommend getting the Plague. Her ability to make everyone broken gives her pressure throughout a match and allows her to quickly down survivors. Additionally, her perk, Corrupt Intervention, is excellent for stalling early game generator completion when appropriately used.
The Clown is not a completely terrible killer, but he is really in need of buffs. His ability doesn't do him any favors at specific loops, and it can only ever affect the survivor that he is currently chasing. This fact means that he applies little pressure outside of a chase. However, his perk, Pop Goes The Weasel, is one of the best generator stalling perks in the game, and If you cannot find this perk in the shrine, I would eventually get him just for that.

Depends if you want fun or something that's a bit better. I personally prefer plague over clown. Both have two useful perks. Plague's are corrupt intervention and infectious fright (dark devotion is more of a meme perk that can work.) Clown's two most useful would be Pop and bamboozle.

Pick Clown to suffer.
Pop is not bad tho.

I said Plauge is stronger because that is what most people think. Me I play better with Clown and with good add-ons he's pretty strong. I went from rank 9 to rank 5 only playing Clown so he is not that bad.

Not saying you cant be good at clown, but Plague has instadowns after few minutes of the game, and ranged damage better than hatchets if they decide to cleanse... I dont think its comparable to 15% slowdown and DiSoRtEd ViSiOn...
Especiall since the guy is probably buying his first killer for shards...

Depends on what you want from a killer
Both have good slowdown perks although pop generly is better and can turn a lost game completly around
Dark Devotion is the most fun perk but don't expect to win frequently with it
Personly i like clown more. Unpopular opinion but I find Plague to just be a weaker and slower Legion
Also Clown has an easier time getting BP and Pipping

Respect if you manage to get or stay in red ranks just playing as them. It's hard to pip with Plague, you might have a decent match a 2K and still depip. Clown is depressing, but PGTW is one the best perks in the game.

Plague is much, much better power wise and they are kinda equal perk wise. So I'd go with Plague.
