Can the Mods/Devs clarify if bans are possible on consoles

Something that keeps going around is that it's not yet possible for bans to be rolled out for things such as DCs and exploits on PS4/Xbox One.

Is there an official source for this such as a comment in a dev stream/Reddit post?

If there isn't can we possibly get a statement on this? Will console bans be a part of an upcoming report system?

    Of couse it is possible to get banns for DC and exploits, even on console.
    Read the TOS if you dont believe me, that should be official enough :wink:

    Other than the in game reporting system, how can we submit reports with video proof? I've looked all over and I can't seem to find it. Sorry, but I'm rather new to the game.

    I'm almost certain there's nothing BHVR can do about banning people on console. Sony/Microsoft can, but I don't think BHVR can anything unless they build a banning system in game for consistent DC's.

    I believe not queen said on stream that they can’t ban people on console and I believe that was around the time Freddy came out (don’t quote me on that). Their reasoning was because it was out of their hands

    Hm I don't see why not. They have console terms of service. And plenty of other games that Playstation has online can and do ban people.

    I know someone who’s been banned on console from DBD but it was only because they were harassing other players non stop and the victims reported it to Sony and they issued a 1 week ban

    NotQueen specifically answered this (my question) in the first Reddit QnA. She said they want to add bans to console but have no eta.

    Yeah that's because it was done over psn. Has nothing todo with DbD at that point.

    Sony handles PSN nothing else.

    They just have to add a ban system the same way they added it to pc. This isn't rocket science guys.
