Escaping death brings out a taste of adrenaline.
Successfully wiggling out of the killer's grasp nullifies any negative status effects except exhaustion for 20/25/30 seconds you may get.
The first time this perk is activated, you passively heal one health state over 32 seconds. Being hooked, broken, or in deep wounds will pause this effect until available again.

Do you still have the status effects, or are they removed (for instance, if you're affected by sloppy butcher is it still there but just the effects are negated for 30 seconds, or do you have to be hit again to get the effects)?

Your current status effects are ignored for the duration and getting more status effects will be cancelled out completely.
