Black circle blocking vision

When gen gets done or surv hooked, the game displays a black circle for few seconds and fades away slowly. Why is there not a option to remove the circle earlier manually (press X to remove the circle ahead of time? There has been numerous situations when this circle has ######### the game up for me (and possible for others) when the circle blocks the vision completely and you lose the track of killers movements, possibly giving the killer time to close the gap between you and him or making saving impossible when you dont know where the killer is anymore.
What do you guys think about the black circle? Should there be a manual way to remove it ahead of time?

I'm pretty sure every negative you listed is intentional and meant to give the killer a temporary advantage. Good thing is, if you're close enough to the hook, the circle doesn't appear.

Funny right, losing a few seconds the track of the killer. And that in a horror game....

Cause it works against the killer too... pop the gen right when they hook someone and if they got BBQ... they might not be able to see you from the gen flair. Those flairs are your friends.

The circles are an intended part of the game balance allowing for killers and survivors to obscure their movements after an event that clearly gives away one's position. It blocking your vision means the game mechanic is working as intended.
