Padded jaws should only be used if your using the perk save the best for last. So you can get 2 stacks when a non obsession steps in a trap. Otherwise garbage.1 -

How you counter that is you tunnel the guy off hook and eat his ds early then either continue chase and rehook and move on. Slug mutiple people early game to force the unbreakables early2 -
