The activation zone for that interaction is insanely tiny, unless you get it pixel perfect right you just won't get the prompt. I wish they fixed it along with Trapper trap placements.1 -

I submitted seven consecutive survivor games. 6 of them I didn't even get 10k bloodpoints and I had one measly fun match in there. They can fix their game any time they want.1
