Yes knight, trickster, and twins had awful reception on their PTBs. For different reasons, but this isn't the first killer that dropped and mostly negative feedback has been posted about them.6 -

Tinkerer was dead long before the hud update. When it was converted to once per gen it became garbage.1 -

I'm pretty sure you can block his knights with dead hard? As far as I know there's nothing special about their attacks that would make them immune to dead hard4
