I never bothered looking up what luck does but to me it should obviously increase chances for better items and bigger skillcheck-zones where the added part is placed in the "great"-part I&#…1 -

Because it was my first main killer. Always seemed to struggle to find the survivors. Doc showed my their habits so he'll always have a special place in my heart1
