I'm pretty sure they are. Kate's brushing animation looks smoother and better overall, so I assume her facial animations will be changed.1 -

Kate, Jeff and Yui are most likely getting facelifts. I'm not sure about Zarina though since she was the last unlicensed character before the Realm updates.1 -
