Some people would just DC to purposely de-pip, go to higher ranks and then they would smurf, that's the real issue12 -

Tbh, I don't see people DC'ing that often anymore. If anything, I'd add that people DC usually because there is a mori in the game, or when the killer brings overpowered addons.3
