Spearing a survivor is the special attack, hitting them, after reeling them in, is just a basic attack. So not even the Yee Haw Shooty Man is an exception.3 -

Most of the recent updates are negated if you use an insta-down killer or add-ons. Dead Hard validation doesn't matter if they aren't injured and are insta-downed. Who cares how quickly they heal if …1 -
