Ranks don't seem to mean much skill wise. Many times I've seen players with green ranks do better than those with purple or red.1 -

Not necessarily. It could run as a separate program or even on a separate computer and have to get the information from the server for what is in it's line of sight, what it hears and so forth. …1 -
