The update broke the speed boost, it also did this to wraith. There should be a fix in 1-2 weeks.2 -

No, there's no way to lower individual sound levels. Only master sound and menu music.1 -

Even if it were allowed, the audio files are contained in WindowsNoPaks, so the game wouldn't even let you play if it detected these were edited.1 -
