I made that mistake once when the witch survivor was added. Using auricular cells to buy characters works fine though, you only miss out on the outfit in the dlc pack1 -

No. It's a way to let players vote on what map they want. I actually think they need to rework map offerings into a more detailed and better map voting system.1 -
