it always did, once the totem is destroyed the perk power is no longer effective but keep "adding tokens" for some reason. This perk is such a tease.3 -

I mean they could keep it but with a cooldown, like characters voicelines in many video games. Unless it is intended as a audio cue to warn survivors.1 -
