Interesting idea! Reminds me of Darkest Dungeon a little bit. It seems like it would hurt solo q survivors but not really affect SWFs, which isn't great.1 -

Hatch is meant to be incentive to survivors to keep playing despite poor odds of success. Otherwise there would be a lot of survivors who DC at two gens with two people left.2
