It’s because it’s not a free battle pass. It’s a trial of the premium version. “Look at what you COULD get if you fork over 1000+ auric cells! It’s not guaranteed but take your chances!”7 -

Survivors dc way more than killers do. And most killers don’t dc unless the survivors are being particularly cruel.1
