I didnt play since the behinning but as far as I recall it has always been like that especially at high ranks. actually since the beginning of 2k17 the game had a decent increase of the player base.1 -

With all the dcs, 3000 hour tryhard with moris, and matchmaking with 10hr gametime players it feels rank 7 is harder than rank 1. Unless you play immersed which I hate.5
