If the killer does have NoEd, yes is best for the rest of the team to just scape and don't give the killer more kills, but when he doesn't, why not try the save?1 -

Re: The Trapper Buff
Letting the trappers to set a trap without picking it up is not enough. The trappers needs more buffs, at meats give him a base kit of two traps, or survivors should not be able to untrap themselves.1
