While playing killer the Vials did absolutely nothing to hinder me. Haven't tried them on survivor but they certainly seem useless.4 -

Do gens if they camp the hatch. They can either camp the hatch or come after you.10 -

I would guess they want to allow people to vent in the hopes they're experience will be better afterwards. Probably doesn't actually work but I suppose they think it's worth a shot.2
