I always had the idea of a cult leader that worships one of the creatures to be the killer. It's nice to hear some people want lovecraft in dbd other then me lol.2 -

They make the entity try to sound like a lovecraftian creature according to some lore pieces. Although I agree with your final statement about it being a problem with them being not good or evil.1 -
