Just vsed this hacker in dbd with walls + speed, I thought to myself oh probably a new account that just started but nope. This guy has over 1000hrs and a previous ban on record. I'm not sure if i'm allowed to post peoples links to steam on this but its been 5 days since his last ban. How is he allowed to just keep playing dbd???

If you want to report someone, this is not the place for that.

You should record your match, report in game then open a ticket on the Support website (https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) giving all the required information, video evidence included.

If you need more information on the matter, please refer to this: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules

This isn't about reporting him I've already done all that I just want answers how to how a player gets that many hours while being a cheater. It boggles my mind

Even if they have 1000 hours, it doesn't mean they cheated for 1000 hours.

I've only had one hacker a long time ago who finished each gen in 2 seconds, had speed hacks, and opened the exit gate immediately. I reported but didn't take and video evidence since I just shrugged it off, took the depip, and moved on to the next game since there's not much to be done. I felt worse for the other survivors who kind of just stood by me and watched it happen since I know they all depiped as well and there wasn't much they can do either.

I'm going to close this here.

Also, please remember a game ban showing on someone's profile on Steam, doesn't necessarily mean it's a game ban by DbD.
