They need to remove tunneling and slugging already
Why they haven't gave us anti-slugging and anti-tunneling mechanics after all these years is beyond me. It's quite ridiculous for BeHaviour not taking action on the most unhealthiest, despicable gameplay. We shouldn't be forced to bring perks to slightly counteract it when most of it is temporary or one time use also how can anyone control someones loadout? This disgusting gameplay needs to go away already. Fix this

Depending on the situation, your either being slugged because you were being toxic af to the killer or its for strategic purposes as sometimes the best way to apply pressure is to leave a player slugged as taking the time to carry them to a hook may end up in said survivor escaping(especially if they have boil over) or take long enough that the survivors were able to complete a gen that if they had left you slugged could have interrupted and kicked just in time.
It's never fun to be slugged but know that if you are its either your own fault or done out necessity by the killer whose trying to apply pressure to your team. Of course sometimes the killer is just a toxic pos themselves but that's uncommon to how often survivors are toxic.

Tunneling isn’t an issue. Slugging at 5 gens is. However killers are more inclined to slug. There are a lot less perks to deal with when you don’t hook.
Is it right? I’d say no. The killers objective is to hook the survivor and feed entity.

That slugging is not always done out of malicious intent. Also getting all four players slugged in a wincon for the killer also if your afraid of getting slugged make the killer regret doing so with this perk:

Cut it out seriously, you know ub is one time use only and expo is niche as hell, its loud and a killer can easily snuff it out. Am sure everyone already know if these 2 niche useless perks. You know how killers qq about old distortion but spies and whispers exist to counter it but they get defensive and say no they are useless or too niche and not enough? Same concept with ub and expo
I bet then if I say increase expo radius to 128 meters like empathy or make ub have infinite use it be too op for yall killers and unfair right? But keep it up, the survery that ask about it so hopefully bvhr is thinking of something soon.

Survivors already have basekit BT. If you are getting downed right after a hook it is completely your fault. But if you want the game to play itself for you, more than it already is, you can use OTR and DS and go do your Genshin Impact dailies while playing survivor.
As for slugging, consider these options: Unbreakable, Exponential, Flip Flop, Soul Guard, WGLF, Buckle Up, Power Struggle with Flip Flop, Tenacity, and No Mither if you are feeling spicy.

Welp, have fun playing against a killer bot then. You cannot remove tunneling and slugging from the game that easily since both of these only use the most fundamental core game mechanics. You would need to force the killer to pick up immediately every single time, which would require the removal of flashight and pallet saves and drastic changes to DS just to remove slugging without putting the killer in a lose-lose situation.
For tunneling it's even more crazy. We can't even agree on a definition for tunneling. Some people consider it tunneling if they are hooked twice in a row. Others go as far to say that a killer needs 8 hooks before they are allowed to remove a survivor from the game. If we go with the latter, than you would need to grant survivors complete immunity to anything a killer does once they have reached their second hook stage.
The point is: If it was that easy to fix the those things, it would have happened already. It is very clear that the devs do try and adress these issues in one way or another but there are some lines that they will not cross. Like reworking the fundamental mechanics in this game (which is a good choice because changing how a game works after 8+ years won't go over well).
I cannot think of a single way to adress slugging that can't be exploited and for tunneling it's very similar. Offer a survivor complete protection and they can safely follow you around and always be there in case someone needs a pallet save. This could and would happen. People use anything that can give them some kind of advantage.
So what BHVR need to do is find ways that make tunneling and slugging weaker and more situational. There have been suggestions to give survivors some form of base kit BT when more than 1 survivor is on the ground. This however bears the issue, that whenever there are 2 injured survivors right next to each other, the killer will always slug and always trigger this mechanic even though it's objectively the right play for them and shouldn't change (if you make a bad play, then your opponent should be allowed to capitalise on that).
For tunneling I only have one suggestion to make it less appealing for killers. Increase the base kit BT timer to 15 seconds (was 10 seconds), make that survivor 15% faster (was 10%) and make them lose collision with the killer, so that they cannot be hit or affected by the killer's power but also can't bodyblock. This would come as a passive buff to some anti tunneling perks as well, since the endurance effect couldn't be triggered immediately after the unhook.

Tunneling and slugging are legitimate (and depending on the situation, sometimes necessary) strategies. The devs have stated this countless times in the past. Maybe you should try to play killer yourself and as soon as you start facing decent survivors, you'll quickly learn this.

Anti tunnel perks would still be balanced because if the killer tunnels they are punished, if not then the perks are useless
Conspicuous action still exists so if the survivor wants to use their perks and the killer doesnt tunnel they are not contributing to the objective therefore the killer is winning

The thing that people seem to not realize that if we remove the ability to tunnel or slug, then survivor's ability to deny hooks will also be removed. All these calls to remove valid tactics is leading us towards an outcome where the game is just linear action and would be boring.
DBD has managed to outlast other competitors so the gameplay of DBD is doing something right that other games failed to copy.

DS 10 seconds stun, 180 activation time
Watch me become a literal meat shield for 3 minutes and bodyblock the killer because I know for a fact that they can't hook me either way. That's what I don't like about the idea of a massive DS buff. People use it aggressively with a 5 seconds stun and they would definitely still do so with 10 seconds.
We've had way too many discussions about whether or not this is a smart use for DS and we'll never agree on that but what we can agree on is that DS shouldn't affect a killer when they aren't tunneling, which in this situation would happen.
Another issue I have with increasing the timer is that there shouldn't be more than 1 survivor at once with DS active. Under no circumstances. DS is supposed to be a last line of defense against a tunneling killer and if they hook someone else, then you are not being tunneled. So this would have to come with clause that deactivates your DS once another survivor has been hooked (you could get a grace period of 30 seconds or whatever but not the full thing).

In other words: "As long as I have this perk active, the killer absolutely cannot progress their objective."
It doesn't matter that 2 survivors would not sit on gens if you use it to bodyblock. 2 survivors will still progress while the killer is useless and could just as well go afk for the entire duration. That is broken beyond. One of the most broken ideas I have ever seen.

When Off The Record, DS, Deadhard, Adrenaline, Mettle of man, Made for this, teammates taking hits on top of that they have their perks. Slugging there are a lot less counters.

Okay gloves are off, I was nice, no longer.
I suck at survivor and i'd bet you 50 bucks I could loop you for 5 gens because you probably NEVER play killer and therefore have no experience in how to play one. Hell, I doubt chasing as killer you would last more than 5 seconds given how you talk, i doubt your that good at survivor either.
Oh and the kicker? I'm a casual killer main player compared to the sweatlords out there.
