I don’t want to play survivor dang it !
This games killer queues are ridiculous on console . I shouldn’t have to wait 15 minutes to play killer . Wish they would fix this

Weird, I had heard it was the reverse of PC on consoles where survivors have the longer waiting time. Did it change at some point?

This. I play on PS4, and for some reason, it has ALWAYS taken way longer to find a survivor game, whereas getting into a killer game is almost instantaneous.

Dude I'm in the same situation right now. It's taking forever to find people and the last game I had took 15-20mins just find a lobby and they all dc because they were getting outplayed.

Yeah survivor is so fast to get in games but killer takes forever no matter what time I play . I miss the old matchmaking that made both sides instant .

I’m not sure as I only play on Xbox . @not_Queen , can you or @Peanits offer some reason why killer lobbies take so long on Xbox ? No matter what time a day and survivor I can get in instantly . I’m only a rank 9 killer

I’m having the same problem, I was playing as a new spirit to learn her (3 tier 1 perks) yesterday and took 8-10 minutes to find a match, starting to wonder if 13-10 is the new peak in the rank distribution and thus it’s harder to find survivors to match? But even then I was rank 13 and was getting between 8-12 and occasionally 15-20 (which just felt bad, I was new to spirit but these people didn’t even grasp key mechanics of the game yet and were hook rushing, was not a good match)
Ps4 player too. My friend who was playing rank 19 killer was getting matches instantly though. As a survivor at rank 7 I get matches near instantly or at most 3-5 minutes

I been going through this at 9 and 8 rank for awhile and the devs only response is usually “time zone issue or rank “ I can see that if I’m rank 1 but come on now

Depends on the time of the day. I play early morning. it's about 10min plus on wait for killer lobby but it's not always that long. I just browse the internet while I wait.

that is not something they can fix, there are only so many survivors and killers queue-ing up at a time
so for every game to start you need 4 survivors and 1 killer , so if 100 players queue and 50 of them choose killer then those killers are gonna have long times and those survivors are gonna have fast times
this game does not have AAA player numbers

This is the first time I've seen someone complain about killer queues on console. Usually it's the other way around.

If you are getting instant lobbies as one side but not the other, the most likely answer is that there's an imbalance of killers and survivors on your platform in your region at that time. It varies wildly depending on where you are in the world. Some places have an abundance of killers, others have a ton of survivors. If there's too many of one side and not as much of the other, queue times are naturally going to increase. Player count alone wouldn't fix that, it's all about the ratio of one side vs. the other.
