After skipping forwards in a replay, it glitches for a few seconds
When I am watching a replay, and press E to skip to the next event:
- It takes a while to get there (depends on how far forwards the event is), ok expected.
- When it does start "playing" often the visuals freeze up. I can hear things happening but I can't see them.
I think 1. is just expected behaviour. But 2. is quite annoying. It's likely that 2. is just standard for Unreal Engine, i.e. not MyM's issue.
I suggest, to mitigate the issue:
- When skipping forwards to an event, skip to not 5 seconds before the event, but 10 seconds before the event.
This will give us a 5 seconds buffer for Unreal Engine to get back on track, then a nice 5 seconds of good quality viewing before the actual event happens.
