Welcome Custodians

We want to keep you updated on known issues affecting your experience in the wasteland. This is not an exhaustive list, but is intended to help you confirm the status of the most widespread or severe issues. We will continue to update this space as issues are discovered and fixed! 

Please note that to keep them from being abused before a fix is implemented, issues considered to be exploits will be omitted from this list.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Replays stop responding after 55-60 seconds, preventing players from jumping forward or backward.
    • Our team is currently investigating this issue.
  • Harvester Paths can go through half blocks/corners when placed near Corrosive Cubes
    • We have a tentative fix for this issue planned in our upcoming 1.5.4 hotfix update.
  • Corrosive Cube's Splatter Mod isn't being triggered by Boltshot projectiles.
    • We have a tentative fix for this issue planned in our upcoming 1.5.4 hotfix update.
  • FoV slider settings are reset when loading into Raids.
    • Our team is currently investigating this issue.
  • The Path of the Chimera Trophy/Achievement cannot be unlocked.
    • We have a tentative fix for this issue planned for our 1.6.0 Mid-Sector patch update.
  • When activating Prosarmogi’s Boost ‘Watchman’ sometimes the harvester path distance says 0m.
    • We have a tentative fix for this issue planned for our 1.6.0 Mid-Sector patch update.

RECENTLY FIXED

(9/29/2023)

  • We have fixed an issue causing Holocube traps to show incorrect textures in the Dreadshore and Shattered Peak environments, making them too obvious. 
  • Fixed an issue which caused the Plasma Sentinel’s Plasma Cloud mod attacks to not appear correctly (or at all) when it lands on a surface. 
  • We have fixed an issue which prevented Raiders from being able to grapple onto blocks equipped with the Mended Tarp prop from the Ice Deco Pack. 
  • We have also fixed an issue which caused projectiles and equipment to stick to the Mended Tarp prop.  
  • The Building Options and Social Menus have been updated to display the granular skulls of the new difficulty system.  
  • We have fixed an issue causing an incorrect Outpost difficulty to be assigned in certain setups.
  • We have fixed an issue causing decals to appear low resolution on PlayStation 5 consoles.

  •  Ravager misses when the Player stands directly infront of them, after missing multiple times the Ravager will then become idle. 
  • Co-Op party guests receive a disconnection error when attempting to join the host while in Building Mode on consoles. 
  • Incinerator Traps can trigger through hardened Corrosive Cubes after being triggered.
  • Keybinds get reset after updating the game

  • The Assertion Failed pop-up is displayed causing the player to be unable to launch the game on SteamDeck devices.

  • Players are unable to load into Outposts equipped with Sector 0 Ranking Reward decals.

  • Co-Op party guests are unable to throw all of their Grenades in Co-Op Raids. 
  • The Fog and Lighting in large Dreadshore Outposts reduces overall visibility within Outposts during Raids.
  • Outpost Thumbnails may appear dark in the Command Center, reducing overall visibility of the Outpost. 
  • Skipping 30 seconds causes performance issues while watching replays on PlayStation consoles.

  • We have fixed an issue with the Grenade physics which resulted in a very long and floaty throw trajectory compared to usual.  
  • Fixed an issue which caused Traps to be indestructible when placed on Bedrock with Pipes.  
  • Fixed an issue which caused Traps to be indestructible when placed on the corner piece of Chain Link Blocks. 
  • We have re-added the missing Flamewalker Augment for the Warmonger. The removal of this Augment was unintentional.  
  • Fixed an issue which caused the Dead Man’s Switch Augment to not always trigger at a distance. 
  • We have fixed an issue which granted Ranking Points for an incomplete Raid.  
  • We have fixed an issue which caused the title to crash when lunging towards a Ravager Guard.

  • We have fixed an issue which prevented Raider deaths from being registered upon force quitting the game. Skulls will now register on every death instead of at the end of a Raid.  
  • Builders will now be rewarded with kills and loot even if the Raider quits by force closing the game on console, or by pressing Alt+F4 on PC.  
  • Fixed an issue where Co-Op party guest does not gain experience upon completion of a Co-Op Raid. 
  • We have fixed an issue which prevented Co-Op party guests from receiving Ranking Points after completing a Co-Op Raid. 
  • We have fixed an issue which caused Ranged Weapons to have an infinite pickup range when shooting bolts from a specific area in an Outpost.  
  • We have fixed an issue which caused Traps to incorrectly trigger when placed with specific configurations of blocks and Corrosive Cubes.

  • We have fixed an issue that allowed Traps to trigger through Holocubes equipped with the Second Wave Mod.  

(5/30/2023) 

  • We have fixed an issue which caused Incinerator Traps to be able to shoot through blocks with a specific Trap layout. 
  • We’ve also fixed an issue which caused Incinerator Traps to be able to shoot through Plasma Sentinel Traps. 
  • Traps placed behind a Holocube equipped with the Second Wave Mod should now trigger as intended after the GenMat has been collected. 

(5/18/2023) 

  • We pushed a fix which should help with long loading times on PlayStation consoles. 
  • We have fixed an issue which caused Outposts to not appear in the Raid Map under certain conditions. 
  • We fixed an issue causing some newly created Outposts to not receive Raids.  
  • Traps should no longer shoot through corner blocks in certain setups.   
  • Raiders should no longer get trapped in paths which contain double wedges or corners in certain setups. 
  • Raiders should now receive a consistent amount of increased loot after purchasing the Strip Mine or Power of War Advisor Boosts.
