You shouldn't have to meet the path and defense requirements in a social outpost in my opinion. Instead, the creator is required to complete their outpost before it can list as social.
The reason for this is it allows for a variety of level building outside of normal MYM gameplay. You can make parkour challenges, mazes, and potentially 2 player co-op levels in the future.
I understand the path/defense requirments are great for the game's harvest/collect resources game cycle, but for people who really want to delve into the level editor and make creative masterpieces it'd be fun to have an alternative to normal play.
