PSA: "free exp" levels
I've seen a couple of these crop up since someone made a youtube video about it.
It's just a whole load of exploding impalers, you hit one and they all go off like a chain of dominoes. This is followed by a suicide booth to give the builder a kill for their troubles.
I'm here to tell you they don't work.
You get the 20 exp from the first impaler you hit, and that's it. No more exp, no currency drops, nothing.

Yeah, it's fun to watch, but that's all, it's totally useless otherwise.

Thats why i don´t give accolades to those. Since there is absolutely nothing to gain from it...

I haven't come across that yet. Pretty funny though. There has got to be a better way to do this though. Like a series of bombs that drop down to blow up a bunch of traps and the bombs are positioned above ramps making it easy to run past and trigger without any danger to the raider. I know for a fact that you get backfire exp for those. Another super easy exp thing to do would be to place a bunch of guardians in an easy to shoot position with their backs turned to raiders as soon as you log in. Then you can get the sniper and headshot bonuses.

Well i try to do those without dying and leave no accolades - they are completly contraproductive to the game.

that's nice, benefit from a map designed to give you benefit then be like "ha ha screw you builder who did something nice for people" /sarcasm
edit -if you don't reward non-killboxes, all you'll see are killboxes.

I actually came across one of these yesterday that I did think was kinda ingenious tbf. It was a series of tunnels with Impalers and Boltshots on opposite walls. If you fell or grappled through this fast enough, you were unscathed and the traps backfired, which does net you exp and currency drops, and even comes with a slight chance of death if you mess it up. So I gave this builder 1 kill for it. If it's halfway interactive at least, then it's not just a mindless farming simulator.

I reward non killboxes and I reward killboxes, when I think they earned it.
Trying to gain more raiders with maps that are "against" the ultimate goal of a builder to create a deathtrap - by advertising with "free xp" maps they will ultimatly kill the game faster than anything else because the other maps in rotation will get played less.
