Today, we have some important news to share regarding the future of the Meet Your Maker forums. 

After much consideration, and evaluation of how our community interacts and communicates, we have made the decision to retire the Meet Your Maker forums. This decision wasn’t taken lightly, but we believe it’s the right step forward as we aim to support a more streamlined and efficient platform for community engagement.  

While the forums have served as a community hub for discussions, they have always represented only a small fraction of the conversations happening within our community. We believe that external platforms offer more robust functionality, and better suit the needs of our community.

We understand that this change can be unsettling, however, we’re committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for all players. Our goal is to continue to foster a vibrant and inclusive community where players can connect, share their experiences and support each other.  

Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming changes:  

  • March 22: The Meet Your Maker forums will transition to read-only mode. This means that you’ll be able to access existing threads and posts, but you won’t be able to create new ones or reply to existing ones.  
    • This will also allow you to save, archive and screenshot any posts or threads that may hold some sentimental value or can be re-posted on other Meet Your Maker-related platforms.  
  • April 5th: The Meet Your Maker forums will be officially retired.  

What will happen to the major communications from the Meet Your Maker team hosted on the forums? 

  • All major communications from the Meet Your Maker team including patch notes, the Known Issues Board, and the Pantheon of Builders blogposts will be relocated to the Meet Your Maker Support FAQs and Steam News pages. This will ensure that you still have access to important updates and information in a centralized location.  

Where can I go to get Meet Your Maker news?

Where can I go to interact with the Meet Your Maker community?  

  • The Meet Your Maker Community Reddit, and the Partnered Discord Server have served as an incredible hub for interactions among the wider community. Unlike the forums, both Reddit and Discord not only offer a larger audience, but a more immediate and interactive environment where ideas flow freely and questions find quick answers. Not to mention, these platforms are run by the community, for the community!

How can I interact with the Meet Your Maker community team?  

  • Our community team will remain active and engaged on our official Meet Your Maker social media pages, as well as the Community Reddit and Community Discord social hubs for the foreseeable future.  

How can I share my feedback with the Meet Your Maker team?  

  • Players may always share their feedback on their social media platform of their choice, or you may do so through on Steam Discussions, the Community Reddit, or the Partnered Community Discord.

Where can I go to submit bug reports or receive player support?  

  • If you’re encountering an issue or bug, you may contact our Player Support department by opening a support ticket here.
