Its people cheating to preserve thier deaths or sometimes to punish people they think are building in a way they don't like. It's pathetic and they need to fix it. They just simply dashboard and poof all deaths not counted.

It's a known exploit and people are promoting it in reddit comments. It allows them to preserve rank, scout a base and do it in 0 deaths and to punish people who make killboxes etc. Its quite pathetic but its an online game so people will cheese if they can.

Also to add the host gets normal xp for destroying traps etc but the other player gets only 1 xp per trap kill etc. It makes coop a bit of a waste for grinding.

It is game crashes but for the most part its an exploit people are using in game. You can alt f4 or dashboard on play station. It doesn't count your deaths.
