An early toxic effluent monitoring station. 

“Fort Hope was never much to write home about. But in these terrible days, being mostly virus free at least made it feel safe.” 

The location at the town of Fort Hope was specifically chosen due to its unique geographic location and natural protection from the Corrugenic Storm Surges that were sweeping the world. 

The Refinery at the heart of Fort Hope was the icing on the cake. An old copper mine and chemical processing plant capable of being repurposed to leach copper and distil selenium in large quantities.  

Selenium was believed to be a key a key mineral needed to treat the ceramic plates that the Gene Bank walls would eventually be constructed from. 

Objective: Complete the Outpost and find the QR Code to continue the trail.
