Is anyone else disappointed with the voiceovers?

Originally I was expecting Claudette to tell her story, but I wasn't disappointed in hearing another narrator. The problem is it's like they're speed reading or something. It doesn't really feel like they're putting any effort into it, just reading a script.

Yeah, the narration's not good. To make it worse, when I turn Autoplay off, it doesn't stay off. It keeps resetting back to "on." It should stay off forever unless I change the setting myself.

Yeah you're not alone, that's why I turned it off and I read it by myself...😅

I want to hear Dweet narrate his story.

It's sad because I was expecting the lore to be more well polished since they were adding it directly in game as story.
I know, it's gonna be disappointing. I was hoping to hear the characters actually speak for once.

I almost get anxious listening to them, the way he rushes through is just frustrating.
He doesn't pause at commas or full stops like he should, and give cool lore this frantic, awful pacing.
I don't mind his voice, but he really needs to slow the hell down.

My thoughts exactly. It's like he's just trying to get it over with as fast as possible or something.

His voice distracts me when I’m trying to read

You can click the "stop" button :P

So far for me the voiceover doesn't even work so I have no idea what it sounds like. (PC)

Bit of an update.
The first entry in "Claudette's 8th Birthday" has PERFECT pacing, it's much more enjoyable to listen to.
I don't understand why "The Hunger" and "Blood, Brass and Grit" are so bad in comparison. MAYBE for parts of the hunger, but not the entirety of both sections.

Quick-reading kills the immersion intended for this lore thing, kinda dumb imo.

I didn't know what to expect really. However, the idea of having the survivor tell the story would be awesome. Killers, i guess the narrator, depending on the killer maybe. Legion and Ghostface could tell their own story. Naw, it would be better to hear Sally talk about her experiences.

Hm, iirc I wasn't even a fan of Claudette's first one.
The only time I don't think the killer needs to speak is for Michael Myers and Leatherface, in which case for Myers I feel Loomis would be an appropriate alternative. Freddy also possibly, since he's not really alive anymore and I feel like it'd be weird having Freddy tell his story, even if it is the story of that awful reboot. But even then, those are licensed so they likely wouldn't get anything anyways.
Overall though the narration just feels bad to me.

It's still better than the Tekken 7 narrator.

The reading is very fast. Btw, they made only English voice overs? I wounder how it's done in other languages.
